Can we believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the Savior of the world, God in the flesh?
It is pretty rare to hear of people who do not believe in what is known as the "historical Jesus." In other words, most scholars and historians agree with the Bible that there was a man named Jesus, whose parents where Joseph and Mary, and lived in Palestine in the 1st Century AD. But when you ask those same historians if they believe that Jesus was who he claimed to be in the Bible, you will get many different answers.
But what should we believe? Can we believe that Jesus is God?
The answer to the question, "Can we believe that Jesus is God?" stems around one event—the Resurrection.
If Jesus really did raise from the dead, we must believe what he claimed—that he is God, but if the resurrection was a hoax or a myth, no one should be a Christian.
So, can we believe the resurrection?
On April 7, 2019, we showed these two videos in our Student Ministry, answering the above question. The first video answered the question above and the second video talked about the arguments that people have used to try and dis-prove the resurrection and rebuttals to those arguments.

Who is Jesus?
Since we can believe in the validity of the resurrection, we can believe Jesus! But who is Jesus? Marc answered that question during the following week in the Student Ministry on April 14, 2019.
