SM ONLINE

We are back! We have begun meeting again on Sunday nights from 5:30-7:30 pm. 
WEDNESDAY HANGS
  • Time: 4:00-5:00pm
  • What we’ll be doing: We will mainly be talking and catching up with one another. We’ll play some games together and have question prompts to keep the conversation going. We’ll even do some fun things such as “Ask a Leader Anything” and “At Home Scavenger Hunts” during these times. 
  • Yes, if someone is being annoying, I have the ability to mute them

SUNDAY NIGHT SM
  • Time: 5:30-7:00pm
  • What we’ll be doing: We’ll be having an online version of Sunday Night SM. This will include a game, some funny videos, worship videos, teaching time, and even small groups.
  • The teaching time will be a conversation about a topic. The main teaching will come from a video and there will be discussion questions before and after the video about the given topic.
  • During the small group time, we’ll break you off into various small groups with a leader to lead the discussion questions. The small groups will probably look different than normal because we’ll break you up into groups based on who is in attendance.

I’m excited to try this new version of SM, and I hope that you’ll take advantage of living in today’s digital age by staying both connected and encouraged during this time.

I do want to say that if you do not have a church home, or if your church home isn’t able to live stream your services, I’d like to invite you to join our South Side online community. You can join our Sunday Morning worship experience on our church’s facebook page as well as our church YouTube channel at 10:30am.

Do I need a ZOOM account to join or sign in?
Nope! You just need a link to join. When you click the link to join, you’ll be asked to put in your name. Please put your full name in. You may think it’s funny to make up a name but it will make it difficult to communicate inside of ZOOM.

This being said, we've discovered that if you're using a mobile device such as a phone or tablet, you'll want to download the ZOOM app.

How will I get the link to join?
Every Wednesday and Sunday, Marc will text a link via Remind. If you do not currently get our text alerts, you can get sign up for those by clicking below:
Can I invite friends who don’t come to SM?
For sure, yes! In fact, this can be a low key way for them to see our SM community in action.

Do I have to wear pants?
Yes, please. 

Can my siblings share a device?
Yup! Sure can! As long as you are okay being in the same small group as them.

I’m an SM alumni. Can I join SM Online on ZOOM?
We want to keep SM Online for those who are a part of SM right now. If you’re an SM alumni or still a part of South Side Kids/AWANA, we request that you do not join us online.
