Winter Retreat 2018
Jan. 4–6, 2018 • $30 per teen
"Generation Multitask." It's a fitting label for an overcommitted, over-entertained generation of teens. School, band, sports practice, family vacation, 4-H, and work all create a tremendous drain on their lives. Where is the time for cultivating their relationship with Jesus? It's time to hit the pause button.
For three days, our student ministry will take a step back from the busyness of life to "hit pause" in order to spend time with Jesus and doing it along side friends. This winter retreat will have multiple teaching sessions, daily devotional and reflection times, worship experiences, Bible memorization periods, and hilarious games—all with the intention of taking a step back, slowing down, and being with God.

What are the accommodations like?
The Oaks at SouthPaw is a state-of-the-art facility here on the south side of Mishawaka. There are three floors to the facility. Girls will be upstairs; guys will be in the basement.
The girls will be in twin sized beds, but the guys will be sleeping on the floor. Feel free to bring an air mattress to sleep on.
There are four showers in the facilities. Two are designated at "guy showers" and the other two as "girl showers."

Will there be adult leaders?
Yes! At the present time, there will be three leaders on site during the entirety of the retreat. Throughout the three days, there will be other leaders who will come and go based on work schedules, but there will be supervision throughout the entire facility.
Can we bring friends who don't go to SM?
Most definitely! This event will be saturated with Jesus so if you bring a friend to the retreat who doesn't know Jesus, they will definitely know who He is by the end. So bring them along, but each person attending needs to have a filled out Registration Form.
If your friend has never been to anything SM related, and it's past the December 17 deadline, talk to Marc about it ASAP.
