Mission Trip 2020 Cancelled

It is with a sad heart that we inform you that the Mission Trip for 2020 to Radcliff, KY, from June 22–27 is cancelled and will not be rescheduled.

The mission trip was being planned and orchestrated by the Lifeway company called “World Changers.” World Changers notified our church this morning that they were cancelling all mission trips for this summer, so there is no possibility of the date being moved. At this time, we feel that it is appropriate to not pursue an alternative way to go on a mission trip this summer because of COVID-19.

Over the next couple weeks, we will be working on refunding each participant that was already signed up for the trip. We will be writing physical checks and getting them in the mail as soon as we can.

Again, I am thankful for each of your families and your involvement in the Student Ministry here at South Side. We are still meeting every Wednesday from 4:00–5:00pm and Sunday Nights from 6:00–7:00pm, and we would love to see your teen there so that we can continue encouraging each other during these times.
