This phrase may cause you to think one of the following thoughts:
"I like telling people what to do. Let's do it!"
"I'm not leadership material. I don't like to be in front of people, and even if I tried, no one would listen to me. I'm not a leader."
If you're human, one of these two thoughts popped into your head, but what if I told you that BOTH of these thoughts are wrong? What if I said that true leadership isn't telling people what to do, that true leadership isn't being out in front, that true leadership isn't only for the extraverts and flamboyant?
During your time on the Student Leadership Team, you will discover the meaning of true leadership—what it is and how you go about being a leader. You will learn how to use what you ALREADY have and have opportunities to develop your gift. You will have the opportunity make a difference.
